Brand Guidelines
SLSTM is our own registered brand. This page sets out how we use it, what we sell under it, and the promises attached to it.
Independent & wholly Indian-owned
SLS stands for "Shailesh Laherchand Shah" — the name of the owner's father.
SLSTM Bearings India is a whole and sole Indian company. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or licensed by any other company anywhere in the world. SLSTM Bearings India is an independent Indian company and is not affiliated with, owned by, licensed by, or associated with any other company or group operating in India or abroad. We operate from a single head office at Mumbai - 400003 Maharashtra. No other branches. No franchisees. No authorised representatives.
Our brand identity
- The correct written form is SLSTM Bearings India. Always use the registered mark on first mention.
- Brand red is used only as an accent for calls to action and the "SLS" wordmark — never as a background for body copy.
- The tagline "Helping India choose better" sits with the logo in a smaller, uppercase weight.
- Third parties may not use the SLSTM mark, logo or wordmark without written permission.
Our key products
We sell only two categories of product:
- SLSTM-branded bearings — our own brand, manufactured to our specifications.
- Chinese pillow block bearings — imported directly from China, made in China, and supplied openly as such.
We do not present either category as anything other than what it is. Every enquiry is quoted transparently.
Trademark proof
The SLSTM wordmark is a registered trade mark filed by the proprietor of SLS Bearings India (Class 7).
Our pledge — authenticity & ethics
- We do not entertain copy or counterfeit products of any brand, under any circumstances.
- We do not keep stock of counterfeit, fake or rebranded goods.
- We only supply authentic products — either our own SLSTM brand or openly-declared Chinese manufacturing.
- We uphold ethics in every transaction — no misrepresentation of origin, brand, grade or specification.
